End of School, Birthdays, Bishops, and Other Stuff

Here is our little Preschool Graduate. His preschool program was really cute, although he is definitely the class clown I'm sorry to say.

Here he is accepting his award for academic achievement in writing. He does like to write a lot. Mostly naughty things about his sister and brother. :(

On the last day of school, Isaac and I enjoyed our last morning with just the two of us at the park. He wanted to take pictures, so we pulled out the camera.

Last Day of School 2016!

An example of Ezra's newfound love of writing. He was writing the ABC song while riding on the air train.

Also enjoying the air train ride!

Lightning bugs!

After our ward's 4th of July breakfast, we headed to the park for a picnic lunch!

Isaac transitioned from his toddler bed into a full-size twin bed last week. He is so excited to have a big bed, and he keeps offering to share it with me. :)

We celebrated Erik's birthday and mine by sharing an ice cream cake the first night, and going out to dinner the second. The kids really wanted to decorate the night we stayed in and had ice cream, so we went to the dollar store and bought some party supplies!

There are 3 candles in one spot, and 2 in the other. I figured that would represent our age close enough--I wouldn't want to melt the cake with too many candles!

Erik thinks this last picture makes him look weird, but that's because he had just gone for a run, and our usual barber shop was closed last week. :) I think he looks cute, and tired. Speaking of tired, he just got set apart as the bishop of our ward today. We're both still figuring out how to feel about that.

Good luck (to both of you) with the new calling!

Did he at least have his own sized tie on this time when he was up in front? ;) Good luck!
