Erik and I both had a great time celebrating birthdays this year. Erik got an Instant Pot for his birthday, and I got a new set of pots and pans. Happy birthday to us!
Erik and I worked together to make him this traditional Norwegian cake for his birthday.
And here are the kids with my new pots and pans. I'm very excited to have some bigger pots and pans, and hopefully ones that will last forever!
We went to New Jersey for my birthday, and celebrated with Brad and Rachel and the girls. It was great to have some family to celebrate with! This is my chocolate sour cream bundt cake! I was very excited to try out the recipe. Thanks, Tiff!
And this really has nothing to do with birthdays, but I didn't want to put it in a post by itself. Ginny has a stinkin' good memory, and every year on July 11th, she reminds me it's free slurpee day. So, as we have the past four years, we trooped down to the local 7-11 and the kids enjoyed their once-a-year slurpees!
