Puerto Rico 2019

At the beginning of February we took a weekend trip with Erik's parents to Puerto Rico. It was so nice to enjoy a break from the cold and get some sunshine! We had lots of fun hiking the rainforest (Ginny did not find this fun), playing at the beach, taking a Bioluminescent Tour where we got to see glowing organisms (including a scorpion!) and lots of termite trails, eating some yummy food, and exploring the castles in Old San Juan. We are so glad Erik's parents were able to come and enjoy this trip with us!

Ezra finished the rainforest hike with us. Grandma took pity on Ginny and Isaac about halfway through and took them back.

Waiting for lunch!

On top of an old castle.

Looking through the gun holes.

Flying kites in Old San Juan

Family picture time!

Visiting some of the waterfalls.

Waiting for lunch, again!

The beach was beautiful! Especially from the shade, which is where I like to hang out. :)

Ginny didn't like the coconut water.

Ezra lost a tooth while we were there!

There were lizards all over.

On our last day, we visited the Botanical Gardens. They were still recovering somewhat from the Hurricane.
