We were pretty tired on Seville, Day 2, so we mainly just saw one place--The Plaza Espana. This Plaza consisted of a beautiful plaza surrounded by a little river with a fountain in the middle. You can see it in the pictures. Around the plaza on one side is a building, and on the outside of the building are mosaics that represent the different areas of Spain. The Plaza also consists of a lot of people selling things (of course), and it is next to a huge forest-y park, complete with a playground. It was a beautiful place to spend a morning!

| They had boats to rent that you could row around the "river", so Erik bought some tickets and he and the kids had a great time floating around and seeing the sights. |
| Ezra even got to help with the rowing! |
| Snack time! |
| Erik and me in front of the building there. |
| And Joy and me at the same place. |
| The small playground in the wooded area. There were so many orange trees here, and overripe oranges littered the ground. The kids really wanted to peel them and eat them, but nobody else was so decided we should play it safe. They did carry them around for a bit and enjoy the smell. |
| The mosaics in the background depict the different parts of Spain, with a map showing what each region is famous for. Ezra was not impressed by this part of our trip. :) |
| Ginny had more fun. She even got to buy a necklace from a very pushy peddler who kept yelling lower and lower prices as we walked away, until I finally gave in. I told her she could have it in exchange for her tooth fairy money. (Her two front teeth on top were hanging on by a thread, and fell out shortly after.) |
Isaac had fun climbing and running around. It was great to have some open space.
Other than that, I remember being very, very tired, and almost getting run over by a horse from a horse-drawn carriage. Thankfully, I was spared. We really enjoyed Seville, but our feet were pretty exhausted by the end of this leg of the trip and we went back to the apartment early to recuperate and get ready to travel to Portugal! (Coming up next. . . )
