Seville: Day 1

We arrived in Seville and got settled in, and then promptly stopped for some gelato! We had a great time exploring Seville, and even got to go inside an old castle and explore the grounds. Seville is a beautiful city!

I love the European look. It's so colorful and beautiful!

Gelato!!!
Here we are enjoying our fast-melting gelato. They had these trees there that we huge and so pretty, so we took advantage of the shade they offered.

This was a fun plaza downtown that also had a children's playground at the top, so the kids were happy. :)

Our kids love fountains!

Outside the castle. The inside was gorgeous--the walls were covered in tiles and it the details were beautiful, but it was dim and hard to get a good picture, so enjoy the picture of the grounds instead. The grounds were large and gorgeous. Definitely where I want to live when I grow up. :)

Ginny was very excited about all of the Flamenco products for sale. Seville is known for Flamenco dancing, and Ginny's class was in the middle of preparing for their own Flamenco dance as part of the school's multicultural festival. Unfortunately, the tickets were all sold out to the children's Flamenco concert, but we bought a couple of fans and some Flamenco aprons anyway. :)

This last picture is my favorite picture from the whole trip. Unless a miracle occurs and we get another picture of our whole family looking, smiling, and not trying to run away, this is the one going on our Christmas cards. So, here's your sneak peak!
