The second day in Madrid was a Sunday, so we got up and went to church. It was fun going to church in Spain. We got to listen to all of the speakers and lessons in Spanish, and I was impressed by how much I understood. (Not much. But not nothing. So, progress!) Erik took the kids to primary while Joylyn and I attended the adult classes. It was nice to be in Sunday School and Relief Society, since I don't get to do that very often.
After church, we took a train to the Madrid Temple.
It was a really beautiful temple and small, but beautiful temple grounds. The picture below is a statue from the temple grounds.
After visiting the temple, we went back to the main park and explored a little more while the weather was actually nice. :) The park is gorgeous and it was a wonderful place to spend our Sunday afternoon!
