Earth Day involved lots of rain in NYC, but Erik decided we should go to the celebration, anyway. The kids got to play ball with recycled jugs, get their faces painted, learn about bee hives, and Ginny even made a little crown out of some straggling bits of flowers and ribbons (we got there at the end, so the pickin's were slim). Despite the rain, we had a good time.
