Ezra's Birthday!

Ezra recently turned 6! It's hard to believe, but here are the pictures to prove it:

Ezra woke us up first thing in the morning, ready to open his presents. He got a ukulele instruction book from Aunt M and Uncle L. . . 

And a ukulele from Grandma and Grandpa L! He was so excited! He's been asking for one for over a year now. We are all having fun learning how to play it. :)

He also got some new Lego sets, a Pokemon book, and some of his aunts sent him a Pokemon water bottle, so he was a pretty pleased little boy.

I am way too lazy for birthday parties (and to cheap, I guess), but I did let Ezra invite his friend from our building to come play, and we did cupcakes while he was here.

Then, when daddy got home, we had his big cake which Ezra decorated in a Sonic the Hedgehog theme. I intervened before he turned the entire cake red. . . 

He really gives us a run for our money (and then some), but we are grateful he is part of our family!
